past clients: Let’s Increase Your Referrals! - 10/22/10 01:03 PM
Add Your Past Clients
According to the 2010 NAR Member Profile, a veteran agent of 16 years generated only 23 % of their business from referrals. That means agents didn't stay in touch with their past clients.  Top agents tell me that when they added their past clients to their database and placed them on an automated e-newsletter or targeted past client drip email campaign, they increased their business 20%.
Could you use 20% more business?

past clients: # 4 The MOST important question: How is MY attitude?!? - 04/25/09 04:42 AM
We need to have a good attitude regardless of the economy!

Here are 10 bad attitude busters:
1.    Smile. Duh!  No Really!  Just smile. You'll be amazed at how much better you feel and the difference in the reaction you'll get from others.
2.    Do something nice for someone else. It ALWAYS makes you feel better. Help a co-worker by holding an Open House or help your elderly neighbor in with his/her groceries. Volunteer to bring the cookies to the kid's soccer game.

2.  Join a social network, like Face Book or LinkedIn.  It is a fun and easy way to build your sphere and create an online presence.
3.  "Drop-by" your past clients, with a plant, calendar or a little something like home-made jam.  Let them know you care.
4.  Meet your neighbors.  This … (43 comments)

past clients: "Open House" Idea.. - 08/20/08 01:29 PM
Has anyone tried holding an Open House from the comfort of your own home?
Here's an idea for you:
Let your prospects and clients know that you will be available online in the evening to answer their questions and provide them information. You could schedule an online "Open House"- you are open for business from 7- 9 pm two nights per week. Use IM (the Instant Messaging feature). You are online many evenings catching up, adding listings, photos, blogging, and answering emails. So are your customers and clients! You can include this information on your web site and then send an … (1 comments)
