Have you ever had one of those days where you want to buy something that you don't need but just have to have? Today, I bought this plaque at a low budget store called Price Busters in Mililani Town Center. It just caught my eye and I had to have it. I'm not one to run around buying unnecessary things but today I wanted .....this plaque. A catchy phrase.

A very successful young woman treated all who worked under her like they were less than. She was mean and did not care who she hurt with her demanding haughty demeanor and words. All the office workers talked behind her back and everyone was in on letting each other know when ‘her highness' arrived in the office.

I'm not talking about free time to goof off. I'm sure we all can make time for that. Though many of us have felt the ripple effect of the current economy and the housing market taking a turn, the ups and downs and all arounds; many of us have found ways to accommodate our living styles or at the very least ways to pay the bills.

Tips and Tricks just never end! I'd been a member of Windows Live for a few years and never got into the 'social' side of it. Well, about a week ago I played around and what do you know. I imported all my friends from Facebook and connected with many of them.
Then I entered my link for my ActiveRain Outside Blog so that everytime I wrote a post and saved it to my ActiveRain Outside Blog it would create a link on my Windows Live (just like Twitter) and give updates.

I'll be 52 years old in a couple of months and I'm proud of it. I have learned many lessons in those years and believe me I was one of those that HAD to learn the hard way. Or so my Pop used to tell me over and over. He didn't agree with many of my impulsive decisions back then and mom was the one who was there to support me when I fell. I am getting overwhelmed by the amount of membership here and kind of sad that many ‘friends' went away. I have been oh so loyal to ActiveRain (like many of you) and just wonder where it's going ....for someone like me.

There will always be sour pusses who do not agree with what we write, right? Right. I mentioned the other day how I was getting a anonymous comments by a 'so called Real Estate professional' last week commenting on a 5 month old post. Continuously kept coming back and turning the whole conversation to 'self' and starting to attack my credibility.
Well, I put a stop to it when the 'hiding behind the keyboard' person would not come out of hiding at my invitation. Did you know that there is a box you can uncheck or check for Non Member Comments?

I've been kind of busy so didn't have much time to do a whole how I got to this 'point'. The 'point’ ' I really need to stress about 'points' on ActiveRain is that writing as if the reader is walking alongside of me is a valid ‘point’ for blogging and receiving ‘points’ .

activerain blogging: Here We Go Again.... Using Only Firefox

I can only post and comment through Firefox and nothing through IE on ActiveRain. I can't post pictures in Firefox and nothing at all in IE. I am forced to use Firefox just for ActiveRain.
Personally, I love IE and have no problems with it whatsoever. Ever. Most of my clients use IE and I made sure to gear my website to IE because of the consumer. If it works in IE it works in everything....or supposed to.
I'm sure AR will fix the problem and get everything working again...as they always do.

How many of you look at the formatting of a blog post before commenting? If it's eye appealing, easy on the eyes and has a few 'breaks' in the post with a couple of bold words to create a highlight for the sentence and maybe a picture or two...of good quality to enhance that post...won't you take the time to read it?

For those who do not know what taglines are this simple lesson will be of great use to you. The whole concept of entering taglines is to have a summarized phrase that will be remembered as YOUR brand for your product's emotional and functional benefits for advertising. About a year and a half ago I went back through my old posts to make sure I didn't have any pictures inserted in them ....that WERE NOT mine. I had a few. I deleted them quickly as I was learning about NOT using animations, pictures, cartoons that were not mine. Obviously, it's stealing and I did not get permission to use them.

Every year we have an awards banquet to recognize the top producing agents of all the Century 21 offices in Hawaii. It definitely was a very small group that attended this year compared to last and showed just how much the market has played a role in sales numbers this past year.
