sally cheeseman century 21 liberty homes: Being an Anal Realtor® is NOT a Bad Thing - 04/24/11 07:53 AM
When I received my Real Estate License I was told, "You are the kind of real estate agent we need in this industry".  That statement rang a song that will resonate in my mind for years past and years to come.  That statement was the product of being a good human being who was ready and able to give the service a home buyer or seller needed.....in detail.
As a Home Seller, you will want a detailed agent who will walk that extra mile to market and sell your home. 85% + home buyers will be searching the internet for homes … (14 comments)

sally cheeseman century 21 liberty homes: ActiveRainer's Meet Up- The Patricia Kennedy Saga - 12/30/09 03:27 PM
The Saga:   Patricia Kennedy and her VERY good friend Dick...came to visit Randy Prothero and I in Mililani today. They've been on the beaten beating many paths on three islands (Maui, Hawaii aka Big Island and our island of Oahu) so far and having a grand ole time!  As always, after 'knowing' a fellow Active Rain member for a few years we were bound to meet up some day.
The Shack in Mililani is where we hogged the table for 2.5 hours hung out, had lunch, just a tiny bit of real estate talk (thank goodness) a bunch of conversation and many a laugh. It's as I always imagine it to be when I … (67 comments)

sally cheeseman century 21 liberty homes: BING and Me and ActiveRain - 06/12/09 10:39 AM
I kept hearing about Microsoft launching a new search engine called BING.  Google has always been the search engine of my choice and I often check other search engines to see how well my placement is.
Well, my husband and I were talking about it last night when I accidentally typed in the top search bar for something and up came "BING".  I was actually searching keywords for my website as I had made a big goof and had to go back to the backup from a week ago and redo some stuff.
Anyway, while typing in one of my keywords … (76 comments)

sally cheeseman century 21 liberty homes: Homework Assignment from Broker Bryant - 04/10/09 10:47 AM
The following homework assignment was proposed to us by Bryant Tutas Broker/REALTOR(R) Tutas Towne Realty, Inc.  He wrote a post Is it brains, brawn or beauty? and asks these questions:
What sets you apart from other REALTORS(R) in your area? Why would the consumer choose to work with you instead of your competition? Once you have their business, what do you do to keep it? Well, I like homework assignments so I'm going to do it during a slow Good Friday morning at the office. (yes, I finished what needed to be done so far....besides, I'm a multi tasker LOL).
Here goes:

sally cheeseman century 21 liberty homes: When a Buyer HAS to Back Out...... - 03/14/09 11:48 AM
A Good Realtor® will keep in touch with buyers/sellers from first contact and will follow up if they aren't ready or aren't due to relocate for a few months or even up to a couple of years. In the end we are rewarded with a loyal client. After working with a Hawaii Military Relocation buyer for about six months "long distance" and putting in offers for several short sales that went south they finally arrived.
Everything was as if we had known each other and that first meeting was very pleasant. We looked at property according to their criteria and took into consideration … (34 comments)

sally cheeseman century 21 liberty homes: Making My OWN Magic in the World of Blogging - 02/25/09 11:09 AM

Blogging on Active Rain IS the most astounding way of communicating with the consumer and peers that I have ever encountered.  Blogging means to make my own magic by writing with conviction and passion about a subject I want to get out to the public, the consumer, to others in the Real Estate Industry and of course to other members in the Active Rain community.
Amongst following the general rules and guidelines for Active Rain (found right on our home page and at the bottom of each and every page) these other tips may be helpful to find your own "routine" and quality of writing for blogging on Active Rain. … (116 comments)

sally cheeseman century 21 liberty homes: Successful Closings for Hawaii Home Sellers and Hawaii Home Buyer - 08/21/08 05:54 AM

Last Wednesday we met our clients at Kahala - Title Guaranty Escrow to sign documents for the Honolulu Condo we had listed.

On August 1st, I closed the listing in Mililani that had a few bumps along the way but in the end it all worked out. (torn down unpermitted back storage and all) From contract to keys it closed in 38 days!  Mililani Single … (46 comments)
