The numbers are out for the activity in the Colorado Springs Real Estate market for February 2011.  From what I’ve gathered, here’s my take on the temperature of the market:
Total active listings are essentially unchanged from last February to February this year, 4,361 and 4,315, respectively.  The inventory is healthy, but not excessive, in most price ranges. There still exists an inspiring ratio of sales to listings in our real estate market. When comparing actual sales to last month – January 2011 – the numbers are fairly comparable with a 2.6% decrease in volume of sales.  January was a … (15 comments)

After having a conversation with one of our Colorado Springs Realtors, in particular Benjamin Day, he pulled up some relevant information that peeked our curiosity about the Colorado Springs Real Estate market.
For a period of four days, from Friday of last week through Monday of Valentine’s Day, 108 new listings came on the market, and as well, 105 listings are now pending and under contract, in the same period of time.

Rarely do I recommend books to others to read.  Reading is very personal to me.  If I’m searching for entertainment, then I’ll choose something much more stimulating than reading.  But as far as reading is concerned, I regularly read the Bible, as well as thought-provoking books by authors, such as Bonhoeffer, Nouwen, Merton, Tozer, Murray, Willard, and many others.
