I hope everyone had an exciting time watching the eclipse today.
 
We had partial coverage in Atlanta. It got a little cloudy, but never got real dark. I thought the whole thing was a big bust until my 10-year-old pointed out the vision of the moon in front of the sun would only be visible while looking through the special solar eclipse viewers we managed to scavenge from the (Fernbank) science museum at the last minute.
 
Sure enough there it was right in front of the blindingly bright sun, but only viewable with the solar viewers.
