Finally!!!! Some better news to report.   I did not achieve my goal to lose ten pounds in September, but I did manage to lose six pounds last month.  After spinning my wheels all summer, and in fact going the other way, finally it seems the albatross is off my back. I will admit that I missed opportunities to increase my exercise last month, and that will be my prime objective in October.  Looking forward to December, and realizing that will not be an easy month for this project, I am going to try and do well in October and November... increasing … (13 comments)

This is hard for me to write... I seem to have hit a major road bump in my "You're going to be seeing less of me" Project.  It started with a blip in June that I discussed in my July Blog post. The months of July and August have been discouraging.  I have gained eight more pounds... not where I want to go... In the past, setbacks like this would have me quietly "quit".  Focus on other things and ignore the "elephant" in the room. As I feared, June was not a good month for me in the weight loss project department. Jun 1st... I now weigh six pounds less than I weighed May 1st... My goal has been ten pounds a month and I lost four pounds in April and now six pounds in May. I have "mixed" feelings...  I am thirteen pounds behind my original schedule... The last six weeks have been eventful for me, to say the least.  I experienced my first, though probably not my last, "up and down" in the marathon weight loss project I intend to complete. The first two weeks of April were full of bumps in the road, and I actually managed to gain four pounds before I managed to get back on track.  By the end of the month I managed to lose that four pounds plus four pounds more.
