Northwest Indiana real estate is on an up trend! There has never been a better time to buy or sell property with the low interest rates. I service 5 counties (Lake, Porter, Newton, Jasper and LaPorte). Four out of five counties saw slight increases in sold home prices when comparing 2011 numbers to 2012. All five counties saw slight increases in the number of homes sold.

lake county: It's FAIR time in Indiana!

County Fairs are a big deal in Indiana. The 4H programs are a huge part of this. A couple weeks ago I had a closing in Rensselaer, IN. I suggested we go out for lunch before the closing. My client surprised me by taking me to the Jasper County Fair for lunch. I got a chance to stop by the rabbit barn and say hello to my niece and nephew. It was quite a pleasant outing and closing!
