Wow Golfers! I just learned today that Golfsmith will open a 37,000 square foot Golfsmith Xtreme store on January 17, 2009 in Palm Desert in the Costo shopping center. This retailer will feature an indoor driving range and full sized tennis court. The driving range will allow golfers to try out gear and evaluate their swing on hightech launch monitors. There is also an indoor putting green, and the store will offer custom club-making and repairs, along with golf lessons from PGA-certified pros.
