daily devotional: April 15 - Daily Devotional - Being Renewed Day by Day - 04/14/21 05:07 PM
2 Corinthians 4:16
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
Our time on earth is limited.  We don’t know when the end of our days will come. This is not something to get down about as so many people do, its something to help refocus on what really matters quickly when you do feel you have gotten off track because you want to make an impact while you alive on this planet!
Yes, we do have times or situations where the people around us or the things of the world … (0 comments)

daily devotional: April 14 - Daily Devotional - Take Time For Quiet - 04/13/21 10:38 AM
Mark 1:35
“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”
As Jesus was going from place to place teaching, preaching and healing he needed to find solitary places and time to pray.  You too will need to have some stillness and quiet time to connect with God to help you stay the course.  To shine the light of God you will need to recharge.  Many people are good at doing this daily. Some people have a consistent daily time to do this.
You will know how … (1 comments)

daily devotional: April 13 - Daily Devotional - Sharing Your Lives - 04/11/21 02:07 PM
1 Thessalonians 2:8
“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”
We you are serving and sharing your gifts and talents to help others there is this love that beams up on the inside of you and radiates out to the world.  What happens is that it attracts more of the GOOD you desire to you as you go about living in relationship with God with the heart to make the world a better place!
You look at people with … (0 comments)

daily devotional: April 12 - Daily Devotional - As You Have Done, It Will Be Done To You - 04/11/21 02:01 PM
Obadiah 15
“As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.”
By now its not a secret and throughout scripture in a variety of ways its mentioned that you reap what you sow.  When it comes to helping others you are never impoverished by doing so because the good you do comes back to you in its own wonderful way.  Naturally most people don’t have unlimited funds to give, but do thoughtfully and prayerfully consider where to give to financially so that needs are met.
When it comes to your volunteering and serving efforts fill … (2 comments)

daily devotional: April 11 - Daily Devotional - Helping Where It's Needed - 04/10/21 07:54 PM
Matthew 25:40
“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
If you look back at yesterdays verse and then read in Matthew leading up to this verse you will see that Jesus is responding to their questions about when did they help him when he was in need? The answer was when we do something for the least his brothers and sisters, we do it for Jesus.
There are so many ways to help. Can you help someone and not expect anything in return?  … (2 comments)

Matthew 25:35
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
As kingdom living becomes more natural for you, it will be easier and easier for you to help and serve where you can.  The needs in the world seem endless.  The love of God is all around us and calling us to fill the gaps and … (0 comments)

daily devotional: April 9 - Daily Devotional - Experiencing Kingdom Living - 04/08/21 05:29 AM
Matthew 25:34
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.”
God’s kingdom has been prepared for us since the creation of the world and yet its a mystery depending on your belief to how we get there.  Doing good things alone does not get you there.  Do we only get there when we die?  Do we even know when we are living in the Kingdom?
You have noticed in many of these messages that kingdom living … (0 comments)

daily devotional: April 8- Daily Devotional - Help Those in Need & Shine Your Light - 04/08/21 05:22 AM
Isaiah 58:10
“Feed the hungry and help those in trouble, then your light will shine out from darkness, and darkness around you will be bright as noon.”
As you know there is still an elevated amount of people that need help in this world.  There are the hungry, the sick, the oppressed seeking help and workers are needed for that.  As mentioned in the past each individual will have different desires on their heart, and different skills they use to serve others.  Now in whatever way you serve and use your gifts, always do something to contribute to those with deep needs. daily devotional: April 7 - Daily Devotional - Continue To Work Out Your Salvation - 04/03/21 09:40 AM
Philippians 2:12-13
“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed —not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.”
I want you to imagine for a minute that you are mentoring someone because you have been living a life in fullness of God’s promises.  Along with that imagine that you have obeyed the Lord and followed his ways not only when you felt God close to you, but even when it seemed … (0 comments)

daily devotional: April 6 - Daily Devotional - Drawing Out From Within Your Purpose - 04/03/21 09:33 AM
Proverbs 20:5
“The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.”
It takes a lot of twist in turns, highs and lows, and life experience for most people to figure out their purposes.  If you are still working on that, these messages are for you.  If you have a really good idea of your purposes, but are still working on the confidence to draw them out of you on a more consistent basis than these messages are for you. If you are someone who is walking in their purposes at a consistent level with great … (0 comments)

daily devotional: April 4 - Daily Devotional - God Inspired Vision and Purpose - 04/03/21 08:50 AM
Jeremiah 32:19
“Great are your purposes and mighty our your deeds. Your eyes are open to the ways of all mankind; you reward each person according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve.”
When you have a vision for your life God can breath life into it.  Often when searching for your life purpose(s), the things that really will move you to do amazing things in the eyes of the Lord; they are unveiled to you at a deeper level as you expand your vision for your life. Often when people first try to put together their vision they come up with … (2 comments)

daily devotional: April 3 - Daily Devotional - Have a Vision For Your Life - 04/01/21 05:09 AM
Proverbs 29:18
“Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.”
There is what the world discloses to all people on a daily basis and then there is what the Lord Almighty reveals to those who seek and ask for the revelation.  The world is going to give you distraction to side track you, cares that don’t really matter to pull you off your chosen path, and disappointing actions of others that are mostly beyond your control.
You must have a vision for your life.  See yourself living out the promises that God is … (0 comments)

daily devotional: April 2 - Daily Devotional - Divine Protection As Your Life Expands - 04/01/21 04:06 AM
Isaiah 43:2
“When you pass though the water, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not weep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”
To experience the faith, hope, love and joy from God we are going to have some obstacles on our path.  Getting to where you are at you have overcome many obstacles already as proof that God has been with you; even if there have been times you thought you were alone.
Now on the next phase of your journey the … (0 comments)

daily devotional: March 31- Daily Devotional - Be Peaceable and Considerate - 03/27/21 07:33 PM
Titus 3:1-2
“Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all people.”
In current times many people, and even a lot of people working on their spiritual path, still have difficulty with slandering and showing true humility toward all people.  These verses could convict a lot of people.  If this verse causes you to reflect on things you need to work on, or things you feel would be a challenge for you to do then … (2 comments)

Psalm 40:3
“He put a new song in my mouth a hymn of praise to our God.  Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.”
Enter into this time of your life with a new song on your heart!  Your words you speak can shape your life!  When you pray with thanksgiving and gratitude for everything happening around you and to you regardless if its ideal or not; your “lyrics” of gratitude are pleasing to the Lord.  When you talk about your future with joy and expectation you are giving praise to God for what is about to happen!  … (0 comments)

2 Corinthians 3:16-17

daily devotional: March 26 - Daily Devotional - Let the one who hears say, "Come!" - 03/25/21 08:12 AM
Revelation 22:17
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!”  And let the one who is thirsty come, let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.
The invite is ever open! You are asked to come. So many people find themselves thirsting for something right now.  There is desperation, anger, depression, hate and many other emotions and situations happening in the world that can cause people to have a thirst.  They know something is missing.  You have been given an eternal secret.  You have been invited to ask, seek and knock.  You … (0 comments)

daily devotional: March 25 - Daily Devotional - Never Thirst Again - 03/25/21 07:47 AM
John 4:13-14
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.  Indeed the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
When you invite Christ fully into every area of your life you will experience no more lack. In the world and living in the ways of the world most people see, feel, and experience lack frequently.  Most people chase around in many ways trying to overcome the lack.  Whatever is missing may get filled, only at the notice that something … (0 comments)
