I am very thankful for all my Active Rain, Facebook and Twitter friends! This afternoon I wanted to do a quick audio to thank you! Also I don't see many audio blogs and I wanted to demonstrate how easy it is to an audio recording. I will leave a link in the comment section, but if you don't like video perhaps audio is an alternative solution for you to communicate your message to people! facebook: TweetDeck vs HootSuite (Social Media Tools You Should Use) - 11/24/10 09:12 AM
Today is a good day to work from home and stay home in Minnesota.  We are starting to get some good wet snow and the day before a Holiday can sometime means that people have other things on their mind besides Real Estate.
One of my things TO DO was to check out TweetDeck and HootSuite.  I wanted to start to use these as I hear it can save you some time on the Social Networks.  They are real easy to sign up for and use, so I wish I would have checked them out sooner.  Both are free.  HootSuite you … (1 comments)

facebook: Social Media...Wasted Time Today - 06/24/09 09:26 AM
This featured post proved to be true for me today: The Great Debate - Is Social Media a Waste of Time?... My Answer "Yes...It's a BIG Waste of Time" (by Ryan Shaughnessy).
I got most of my follow done today and had one appointment that needed to be changed because a lock box was not on the house, so I decided to get on Facebook and see what my friends are up to.  After about 1 hour of browsing and posting and chatting its safe to say I did not accomplish anything.
Today Social Media was a WASTE OF TIME!  In fact … (5 comments)

facebook: Facebook Link for Chuck Carstensen - 01/14/09 03:45 PM
In the last 2 plus months I went from around 50 friends (contacts) on Facebook to around 1050 friends.  There are several reasons for me to build my Facebook network and I wanted to share a few with you.
1) Most First Time Buyers are online and I want to be where the buyers are.
2) Many of my friends are on Facebook so I want to be where my friends are.
3) Internet Marketing.  As someone looking to do more Internet Marketing Facebook is a place to be.
4) For fun!  Yes its fine to have some fun!

facebook: Making a Run at 200 Friends on Facebook - 09/26/08 03:16 PM
I am fairly certain I have added over 100 friends on Facebook this week.  I have been a machine inviting everyone I know from my hotmail database, people from Browerville High School and from Saint John's University.  I think I know most of the people.  I don't know that we would call each other friends, but I thought I would jump on board with Social Networking a bit more.
I don't feel I want to put massive time into Social Networking.  I do see the value and benefits of it.  There might be some old friends you reconnect with, perhaps there … (2 comments)

facebook: FACEBOOK - 09/20/08 07:50 AM
I have been on FACEBOOK for a while now. I really don't do a lot with it. My sister or brother invited me and then a few more people added me as friends...and then some more and some more...and so on.  Last night I had some time so I invited about 100 people to be my friend.  I went through the link that had college friends and then I had them scan my email database for other people on there.
It is amazing how many people are on FACEBOOK.  I think as of now 22 people have added me as their … (9 comments)
