I have been listening to a little more mainstream radio lately. Typically I listen to commercial free radio. Its amazing that about every commercial break you here a promo for a news story addressing the HOUSING CRISIS. So today I am going to do a rare rant! ITS NOT A CRISIS YOU IDIOTS! Here is why: 1) Homes are more affordable then ever. Since when is a good deal a bad thing? 2) Interest rates are close to all time lows. homes: Home Under $100,000 in Sherburne County, Minnesota

Its amazing how many great homes you can now find in Sherburne County under $100,000. Sherburne County includes the cities of Big Lake, Zimmerman, Elk River, Nowthen, Princeton, Becker and surrounding areas. Right now in Zimmerman and Big Lake you will find a number of homes built around 2000 that are below or approaching the $100,000 mark. Many townhomes in these cities are clean and move in ready in this price range as well. Payments on these homes are LESS THAN RENT in most case. Its clearly a time to stop renting and get into a house!

homes: Flood of Townhomes on the market in Isanti County

One of the counties hit the hardest by the market downturn is Isanti County. I live in Cambridge, MN which is the largest city in the county. I actually do a large portion of my business in surrounding counties. Now because of the drop in the prices there are currently some great deals out there. I was checking to see how many townhomes and condos are currently available in Isanti county and there are 115 active listings. Yesterday I talked about... Homes Are Out There At Bottom Prices...and I want to mention it again because I was attempting to show some more homes today and this weekend to buyers but almost everyone I call on just got an offer accepted. Its crazy how many and how fast some of these homes are selling. I made one offer today, but there are multiple offers on it. homes: 20 homes to show tomorrow

I have a jammed back day of appointments tomorrow. First I am getting to the office early to submit an offer I wrote tonight. Next I am meeting with a seller for final signatures on an offer that was accepted today. Then I am showing 20 houses to 4 different buyers. I don't think I have ever shown 20 homes in a day. Almost everyone you talk to wants to get a great deal on a home. But there are so many people that don't know how to get a great deal. Here are 5 simple ways to help you get a great deal when buying a home: 1. Here is what has been happening in Monticello, MN Real Estate market. Currently there are 180 active listings with 43 of those townhouses and 98 of the total are listed under $200,000. Right now there are 29 pending sales, with 6 of those being townhomes and 24 of the 29 sales pending are on homes under $200,000. The last 30 days there have been 15 closed transactions, 3 have been townhomes and 13 have been under $200,000.
