In this months video update on the market I am doing a quick recap of how the Real Estate market is playing out in Minnesota at the mid point of the year! Its very active, we are writing more contracts and its sometimes is taking a few offers before a buyer can secure a home.

minnesota realtors: Good News For Minnesota Real Estate (RE/MAX Results)

I read some positive news about the Minnesota Real Estate Market for May. The notable number was that PENDING sales were over 26% over last year. Last year in May there was a drop off probably due to the tax credit rush that happened before the end of April. I know I had a great first 4 months last year and the rest of the year was not as exciting. Anyway that is part of the reason last May was down, but to be up 26% this May is a good sign.

minnesota realtors: "The Busy Season" - (RE/MAX Results)

March for most Realtors and a lot of Buyers in Minnesota marked the start of the busy buying season. Right now I am getting at 50% of the house that are being requested for showing as being mark Active with accepted offer. My feeling is that April will be no different!
Right now is a good time to get your home listed at good price. A good price to me is something that is competitive with the short sales and foreclosure listings but hopefully a little higher if your a regular seller simply based on the fact that your home is … (1 comments)
