october daily devotional: October 29 -Daily Devotional -Dont Give Up, Your Work Will Be Rewarded - 10/28/20 06:37 AM

2 Chronicles 15:7
“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”

The interesting thing about the old testament and this section of the bible is it has a lot about the wars going on at that time.  Even through there are wars going on some where on earth now, the main battle now is for your heart.  The world wants you to go the direction of the world.  And the Spirit of the Living God is calling you into a relationship with Him.

You may see people all the time slipping into the things of … (1 comments)

october daily devotional: October 28 - Daily Devotional - Your Shield, Your Very Great Reward - 10/27/20 04:18 AM

Genesis 15:1
After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram.  I am your shield, your very great reward.”

As you continue to build your faith and confidence that God wants you to be blessed financially you still may have some fears, unknowns or hesitations.  For you like with Abram as he was leaving his former home land with little to go on but a promise from God; you can take the promises God gives you in His word to trust that He is faithful.

Abram also asked the Lord for help and provision. He … (2 comments)

october daily devotional: October 27 - Daily Devotional - The Fine Line In Rich Blessings - 10/27/20 04:04 AM

Proverbs 28:20
“A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.”

Perhaps you have been excited to see increase in your finances, and be able to increase your giving, and bring your full tithe into the storehouse of God, and you are ready to be blessed to be a blessing.  Perhaps through your years of faith you have not heard that Jesus would want you to be rich, but instead that it’s better to be poor.  And then you are wondering what is that fine line that tips the balance from "being richly blessed” to … (1 comments)

october daily devotional: October 24 - Daily Devotional - Bounty, Overflow, Abundance - 10/22/20 10:19 PM

Psalm 65:11
“You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.”

As you become more and more aware that your wealth comes from the Lord one thing you can do to have faith filled results is to proclaim the GOODNESS of God in the work/business you do.  Don’t look at what is happening in the world and make your judgement on how well you will do financially based on that.  Proclaim Gods bounty and overflow for your life and your business.

Even in recessions businesses and individuals can quickly adjust or pivot and do well.  Sometimes you will have to … (1 comments)

october daily devotional: October 21 - Daily Devotional - Give And It Will Be Given To You - 10/20/20 09:49 PM

Luke 6:38
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

You likely are pretty convinced by now to give your first and your best to the Lord right now where you are at regardless of the situation. Even if your finances are amazing you will probably be presented soon with an expanded giving situation that could stretch you. Also there may be someone reading this that giving one percent of their income is a stretch … (0 comments)

october daily devotional: October 20 - Daily Devotional - Give To God What Is God's - 10/19/20 04:15 AM

Mark 12:17
Then Jesus said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and give to God what is God’s.” And they were amazed at him.

This is a day were I would invite you to pull out your bible or go online and read the verses before this one I am sharing for some context.  What I do know for most people is there are so many bills to pay and where do you begin if your finances are not where you want them to be?

If your finances are doing great know that you may have a skill to help other people … (2 comments)

october daily devotional: October 19- Daily Devotional - Give Your First To the Lord - 10/18/20 03:35 PM

Ezekiel 44:30
“The best of all the first fruits and of all your special gifts will belong to the priests. You are to give them the first portion of your ground meal so that a blessing may rest on your household.”

What the bible is talking about as far as a tithe and a first fruit could be covered in much more depth about their similarities and differences.  For now especially if you are newer to the idea to giving a tithe in the form of 10% of your income what is most helpful for you to know from this verse is to … (0 comments)

october daily devotional: October 18 - Daily Devotional - Gathering Little By Little - 10/17/20 07:28 AM

Proverbs 13:11
“Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.”

Another truth about money and handling your finances Gods way is that it can take time, effort, diligence to grow your wealth.  We want things right now and get excited for the double portion or heavenly floodgate overflow coming, but to receive that we will likely have to show that we are capable of handling the money in a heavenly way.

Naturally tithing consistently is one of those way.  Praying for Gods guidance when it comes to how to spend and invest is another way.  The Lord … (0 comments)

october daily devotional: October 17 - Daily Devotional - Blessing the Work Of Your Hands - 10/16/20 03:34 AM

Deuteronomy 28:12
“The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless the work of your hands.  You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.”

The more you hear about the Lord opening the floodgates of heaven and blessing your work the more you will likely get excited to start to be a consistent giver.  You may need to become someone who is comfortable expecting Gods goodness.  A lot of people, for whatever reason, are not comfortable with receiving.  Giving and receiving are reciprocal.  Giving starts the receiving … (2 comments)

october daily devotional: October 12 -Daily Devotional -Making The Most of Your Talent and Skill - 10/12/20 03:58 AM

Proverbs 22:29
“Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.”

Your gifts, purpose, talent, skill(s) are far more valuable then you give them credit.  One of the ways that most people are able to increase their finances and wealth is by the work that they do.  One of the things that holds people back from an overflow of prosperity and abundance is not giving their best effort in their work, and not making the most of their talent and skills.

I know that buried deep within everyone is greatness. You have … (1 comments)

october daily devotional: October 11-Daily Devotional - God Gives the Ability to Produce Wealth - 10/10/20 03:17 AM
Deuteronomy 8:18
“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.”

Your ability to produce the wealth and finances that rise out from your inner most being is given to you from the Lord.  Now I know a lot of people in a religious sense think that Jesus wanted them to be poor, or that the bible tells us that having money is evil.

This is where wisdom and a discerning heart come in very handy because as you … (0 comments)

october daily devotional: October 10- Daily Devotional -Spend Your Days in Prosperity - 10/08/20 08:58 PM

Psalm 25:12-13
“Who, then is the man that fears the Lord. He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.  He will spend his days in prosperity and his descendants will inherit the land.”

Your reverence for the Lord is strong and mighty as you continue day by day to seek His instruction for your life.  You do have a path chosen for you!  It may be different than you had thought it would have been years ago.  Its could be different then what your family thought it would be for you!  Your specific purpose and anointing is there for you and … (1 comments)

october daily devotional: October 9 - Daily Devotional -God Has An Overflow of Blessings Waiting - 10/08/20 08:08 PM

Psalm 23:5
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

No matter what comes against us in life, God is with us and has an overflow of blessings waiting for us.  Your job is to keep the faith and keep moving forward. Your job is to make the demand for the supply God has for you.  Your job is to spread peace, love and joy even in the midst of your challenges.  Your job is to give thanks in all circumstances.

You have an anointing that God has for your life. … (0 comments)

october daily devotional: October 5 - Daily Devotional - Approach The Lord For Help - 10/04/20 06:09 AM

1 Kings 3:7-8
“Now, O Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties.  Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number.”

There may be times you don’t know how to approach the Lord with your requests.  There may be times you don’t feel capable for your calling.  Don’t let that be a reason to stumble or get off track.  Do what Solomon did and frame the question properly.  … (0 comments)

october daily devotional: October 4 - Daily Devotional - Called To Live A Holy Life - 10/01/20 09:48 PM

1 Thessalonians 4:7-8
“For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you this Holy Spirit.”

As mentioned challenges will come on the just and unjust, but certainly monitor closely if you are following the instruction of the Lord and are allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you or if you are mostly following a worldly pattern of living.  You can turn in an instant back to the things of God.  God lives in you and wants all of you.  When God is … (0 comments)

october daily devotional: Oct. 3 - Daily Devotional- Each Attack Gets You Closer To Your Outcome - 10/01/20 09:42 PM

Isaiah 8:10
“Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us.”

You will have your days, weeks or moments and time where things come against you.  It will seem like you are under attack by someone or something.  Remember to use the full armor of God in these times of attack.  Keep close to your heart WHOSE you are.

God is with you always.  When you are pursuing righteousness and love your days still won’t go perfect. You may stumble off your path momentarily.  But don’t go too far off path, come … (0 comments)

october daily devotional: October 2 - Daily Devotional - Make Devoted Time With the Lord - 09/30/20 03:27 AM

Psalm 5:3
“In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.”

Continue to make part of your morning and the start of your day time with God.  Speak to the Lord. Share your thoughts, feelings, desires, praise, thanksgiving.   Let the Lord know what your needs are in detail, and give thanks and praise for all that comes to mind!

This is a habit that you can develop as you put in the time consistently.  This is a habit to get back to if you have fallen off track.  Yes, you … (1 comments)

october daily devotional: October 1 - Daily Devotional - Pursue Righteousness and Love - 09/30/20 03:21 AM

Proverbs 21:21
“Whoever pursues righteousness and love find life, prosperity and honor.”

As you continue in the word of the Lord and show up daily to receive the Lords instruction and look to do what is right and just in the world; the greater things you want will automatically happen for you.  As we mention time and time again in our daily studies; the world has worn people out and that has caused most people to be distracted from the GOODNESS of God into seeking things in the world to satisfy their desires.

Now truly finding LIFE in the Lord is what is most … (0 comments)
