Gunston Hall was the home of George Mason IV one of the fathers of the Bill of Rights and at one point encompassed 5500 hundred acres. The home was completed in 1759 and was George Mason's home up until his death in 1792. This is the second installment on small historic churches in Northern Virginia. Our area gives residents and visitors alike the chance to find history around every corner.
