According to a recent report in the Washington Business Journal new construction starts nationwide reached a four year high in October 2012. The major gain was in multi-family houses which includes condos and townhouses.
All a buyer in Northern Virginia needs to do is drive around and see how new construction is doing in our area. This weekend I was out with relocating buyers looking at homes in the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria.
