In a market full of short sales and foreclosures working with regular sales is a treat. Yesterday we put the SOLD sign in the yard of this home in the Terra Grande neighborhood of West Springfield. The owner had the home on the market with another real estate agent for close to one year when the Cindy Jones team took it over.After giving the owner some suggestions on staging, a few additional fix-ups and pricing the home went back on the market. There are a number of ways to make your home stand out in today's market. One of them is to make it noticeable to everyone that drives by. Honestly every time I pass this home it makes me smile. I have no idea what the neighbors think but since it is on a street lined with eclectic homes I'm sure they don't even notice.If you are thinking of putting your home on the market in the near future you may want to forego the bright pink paint and consider instead some more traditional methods of getting your home ready to sell.
