vacation rental: Living in Mexico

Just to note the costs of living are much lower here living in Cozumel. I will confess the weather is hot right now and the only expense is air conditioning. Each room has it's on a/c called 'mini splits' What a great thought... only a/c the room you are using. Even so, the little I do use it is about $150 a month for a 2000 sq/ft all concrete stone house. Water is $5 a month and taxes on a home average price of $220,000 is $100 a year!
