Massachusetts Home Buyers - It's Time to Spring Forward 
It's that time again, and I love these helpful expressions that remind me of which direction I need to go in.  
"Spring forward - fall back" says it all about how to proceed during daylight saving time. 
It's like the expression from my favorite home inspector who tells me of how to turn a screw - "Lefty Loosy - Righty Tighty."   I would be lost without these words of wisdom.

That was the overwhelming opinion, according to a new study just released by the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR), a majority of home buyers in the state believe that their home purchase was a better financial investment than the stock market. 
Fifty-four percent of all buyers made this statement last year compared with less than half of buyers (47 percent) in 2008.  An additional 29 percent felt that their home purchase was at least as good an investment as stocks. 
That leaves a mere 16 percent of new buyers who did not think their home purchase was a lucrative investment.

massachusetts home buyers: Truth in Lending Changes Could Impact Massachusetts Home Buyers - 09/13/09 12:59 PM
Home buyers in Massachusetts should be aware of recent changes to The Truth in Lending Act.  TILA or Regulation Z was originally put into place to require all lenders to provide full disclosure of all of the terms of a mortgage loan. 
As of July 30, 2009 changes to these regulations will have an impact on lenders and could possibly affect loan processing timeframes. Some are estimating that the minimum time for obtaining a new mortgage may be extended to two months or more.
