Some days I feel I learn so much just watching my own children. They are so involved in what they are doing. You never feel that they are somewhere else or not concentrating on something which has truly caught their attention. I'm not sure I can say the same for many adults.
How about you? Do you give things your full attention? (11 comments)
Newport Harbor has one of the biggest pleasure yachting harbors in the world, and the view from Balboa Island, which is located in the middle of Newport Harbor is almost always a lovely one. On this typically blue sky, sunny Newport Beach day it certainly was. (8 comments)
As the boys share a rocking chair, they stare at the dog in the backyard perhaps wondering what mischief they might get into if only the two of them could manage to get out side or perhaps get the dog in. All else appears to have been forgotten as they consider what next. (9 comments)
I was out showing homes today (yes today), and I had to stop and be glad for the camera I always carry with me. All of this rain we've had the past couple of weeks has created so much snow and beautiful photo opportunities. (27 comments)
We were out Christmas tree hunting and our little one went off and found one just his size which he carted back to us with a hopeful look in his face. It was very tempting to add a second Christmas tree to our household just for him. (19 comments)
I was lucky enough to get to visit my sister and then get to go watch a Mavericks' game at the American Airlines Center with several of her friends in one of the box seats which is a teriffic way to get to see both the game and visit with a large group of people.
If you are planning to buy or sell a home in the Dallas area, be sure to give my sis, Coleen Donovan a call at 972-989-9849. You'll be glad you (10 comments)
In case it wasn't obvious from my last post, Tis the Season, this is my favorite time of the year, and this little guy just makes it so much more special.
He is looking forward to the next couple of weeks and all of the celebration and joy that comes with this time of year.
I have a feeling I'm going to wind up writing a post around the feelings this photo invokes, but in the meantime I wanted to share it as it just makes me smile each time I look at our new puppy as I hope it will do for you. (14 comments)
Tonight the kids were looking forward to dressing up for Halloween. Who am I kidding, I love the excuse to dress up too! Then out and about the neighborhood for trick or treat and gathering more candy than anybody should eat in a month.
As a Southern California girl, when I think of the beautiful California coast, I think of blue skies and puffy white clouds with sunshine beaming down. The drive up a long the coast was a good reminder that there are other sides to California. (10 comments)
I offered to help my little one feed the animals today at the petting zoo, but after observing how I opened my hand palm out to feed them, he informed me he could do it himself and didn't need any help. By the look of it, he was right.
The boys were playing a game of expressing their emotions. The little one was game to try but having a little trouble with the concept. What do you think? Did he cut the mustard? Was he able to convey his emotions? What expression did he convey to you? (13 comments)
Mickey and his friends have Disneyland all ready for Halloween with the Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Ranch and even Space Mountain getting in on the act, there is plenty for all ages to enjoy at the Happiest Place on Earth. (18 comments)
It's amazing how much wonder young children experience from everything around them. I feel like I'm seeing the whole world all over again for the first time every time I watch my boys experience something new. This wonder is precious and lasts such a short time that we need the young ones to remind us. (8 comments)
We are so fortunate in the choices that brought us to the pound on the day we found our puppy. She is everything you could ask for in a family dog and so utterly patient even when we put her in a position like this. (12 comments)
