These are being installed by licensed contractors that seem to not "Have a clue" as to what is correct and what is not correct. Permits being issued? No they are not being issued. These out of sight and out of mind places like the attic and the crawl spaces really are the places that I find have a number of electrical issues. I would bet money that the installer was thinking that the electrical work done in these areas would never be inspected by any one.
