This has been an interesting month for real estate in Bozeman.  Townhomes and condos have both had a price increase by 18% from March to April and Single Family homes saw a bit of a price decrease this month.  Last month the sold Single Family homes took up 62% (Condos 25% and Townhomes 13%), but this month single family homes were down to 47% and condos were right behind with 30%!  This shows us that more and more people are deciding to purchase smaller homes.  This could be for multiple reasons such as because single family homes are more expensive or because the … (7 comments)

Bozeman is finally picking up for real estate!  There were 162 homes listed, which is up quite a bit from the 117 in January and the 110 in February.  The number of homes sold also increased from 63 in February to 85 in March and we expect it will continue to go up for April.  For the first time this year the average price of condos was LESS THAN the average price of Townhomes!  Now is the time to purchase a condo!  Stay tuned for a blog at the end of this montha about new condos in Bozeman!  They seem to … (1 comments)

Bozeman’s real estate market is off to a good start in 2015! We’ve seen an increased amount of inventory and increased number of homes sold in Bozeman in February.
The number of homes listed this February was up 12% compared to February of 2014. The number of homes sold increased 38% compared to last month, and 25% compared to February 2014. Of the homes sold in Bozeman in February, 55% were single family homes, 15% were townhomes and 31% were condos.

With demand high and inventory low it continues to be a seller’s real estate market in Bozeman. While seasonal trends are slowing Bozeman’s real estate market down slightly, real estate in Bozeman continues to be strong with high demand and a substantial amount of new construction.
There were 53 homes listed within Bozeman city limits in November, 2014. That is 10% less than the number of new listings in October. This comes as no surprise as many home owners shy away from putting their homes on the market during the cold, winter season...

The never ending “best-of” lists that keep ranking Bozeman as one of the top places to live seem to be affecting the real estate market as well.
Today, Coldwell Banker Real Estate released its 2014 Home Listing Report (HLR), which calculated the average listing price of a 4 bedroom, two bathroom home in Bozeman to be $447,368, the highest in the state. That is nearly $95,000 more than the average price of a 4 bedroom, two bathroom home in Missoula, Montana!
