We finally, FINALLY have a little snow. It started snowing last night and hasn't stopped yet today. This is the ponderosa tree out our side door. Such snowstorms are not uncommon here this time of year, but this year they have been few and far between. This is only the second accumulation of the year at our house in Parkdale, Oregon.
Friday's Foto - First Snowman of The Season (Well, Kind of)
Our 11 year old son, Ben, rushed home from school this afternoon to make this snowman, which is pretty impressive considering we only had about two inches of snow on the ground. He's been pretty anxious for it to snow. Sure, the snowman's a little... shall we say... creative. We're expecting up to 12 more inches of snow over night tonight.

Wordless Wednesday - What A Difference A Few Months Can Make! Usually by this time of year the weather is sweltering so winter is sounding pretty good. This year's weather continues to be downright pleasant, usally only reaching 75 degrees each day. I still thought it would be fun to post a winter photo that feels almost foreign at this point.
