Besides the great BBQ, Honkey Tonk Bars and some of the nicest people we have met, EVER, living in Tennessee may be the new hot spot. We got to travel there this week to shoot another Condo Cast Movie (which should be airing in the next few weeks). We traveled to Nashville and got some really neat footage to show “YA’LL”. The property we filmed was Jamison Station which is actually in Franklin, TN just a few minutes outside of downtown Nashville. Plenty of new construction condos and condo conversion going on in the "Windy City" off Chicago! Yesterday we had an exciting day before we took off back to Boston. Rum Cay of the Bahamas (1 of of over 700 islands in the Bahamas) is getting some new real state. Montana Holdings a development company from Nassau Bahamas is building a $700 million mixed use community consisting on 3 phases on 900 acres on Rum Cay. This listing has 7 baths and 5 beds located right on 5th Avenue in the Upper East Side; developed by Extell Development and marketed by Corcoran. The building is called The Stanhope. This has to be one of the least exciting condo development websites I have ever seen. I would have expected more life and some real pictures of a 1st Class Model room in the sales center. The Chicago ultra luxury market hasn't slowed down one bit. Chicago has had 47 homes priced at $4M + close in 2006 and nationally sales are up 11% for homes over $5M.
