Downtown keeps growing and new developments only show how the neighborhood is going through a Renaissance. Condos like X Miami, Paramount Mami Worldcenter and One Thousand Museum are just a few examples of concluded developments that decided this neighborhood was the best area to build. There is a growing residential wave that keeps increasing every year. The greater Downtown area (including Brickell) has 92,000 residents in 2019 and is expected to increase up to 110,000 residents in 2021!

Miami is a city that is evolving day-to-day and more and more people are coming to visit it. But not all of them are just short-term visitors, more than 250 people move to Miami every day. But why wouldn't everyone want to be here? All-year sunshine, incredible culture, ambiance and people and a flourishing financial district... It is a paradise for anyone. It’s time to evaluate the real estate market in one of the most popular neighborhood in Miami, the Downtown. Condoideas took 8 different condos (900 Biscayne condo, Marina Blue condo, Paramount Bay condo, Marquis condo, One Miami condo, Ten Museum Park condo, Quantum condo and 1800 Club condo) and evaluated their statistics from the year 2016 to the year 2017. Two things are taken into consideration which is the sales of units inside the building and their price. We noticed on the latest report from the Downtown Development that a lot of young professional are moving to downtown Miami. This creates a buzz and a new clientele for the new businesses which are opening in this area. In the last 5 years the number of residents increased 32% and 150% since 2000. The full-time population living here reaches 90,000 inhabitants. The age range of this young community is from 20 to 44 years old.
