Yesterday afternoon my son and I went birthday shopping. My husband is the hardest person in the world to buy for, so we walked for miles in the stores trying to spot a good idea. Eventually we did, thank Goodness.
Then we went grocery shopping and back to his house where I switched to my pickup and headed home. After all that walking I was tired and looking forward to sitting a while - or perhaps soaking in the hot tub. I was eager to get home. But my half hour drive turned into an hour.
