Seattle Floating Homes Market Heating Up: June is here and we have a tiny bit of sun, but already it is affecting the Seattle floating homes real estate market. We have had two floating homes go pending already this month. These floating homes are located in both Eastlake and Westlake – one on the 2764 Westlake Ave N dock listed at $399,000 for a 2 bedroom and one on the 2025 Fairview Ave E dock listed at $525,000 for a 1 bedroom. You all know I am a sucker for Lake Union - I love it in all seasons. Here is a collection of some of my winter pictures I took in Eastlake a few years ago. The landscape has changed since I took these, but the area is so beautiful! Seattle houseboat living is one of the most unique in Seattle: Are you a creative person looking for your perfect Seattle waterfront nest? As we go into the snowy winter this year, I wanted to share one of my favorite houseboat shots from this summer: The "Duck Lodge" floating raft is located on one of the Eastlake Seattle floating home docks and a great way to welcome in Seattle's nature.
