Calvert County has a new treat-The Farm Stand is now open and selling local produce, meats, baked goods and dairy products. In addition, you can find beautiful bouquets of flowers and garden accessories.
The Farm Stand is located at Spider Hall Farm on route 231 in Prince Frederick. Spider Hall is most popular for its hayrides, cornfield maze and pumpkin patch in the Fall. Elementary schools and daycares also have the ability to schedule and plan field trips!

While many in Calvert County, MD are blessed with their homes, not everyone is so fortunate. That is where Project Echo comes in.
The Project Echo home is located in Prince Frederick, MD and allows housing to over 35 men, women and children who are without a place to stay. Trish, the PE staff and the residents all work together to maintain a safe and clean environment for everyone.

Calvert County Public Schools has implemented a new technology in the area-An interactive Smartboard in the classroom. The Smartboard has many exciting functions. The board has the ability to convert handwriting into typed writing that can be increased or decreased in size and add a photo to the script complete with sound.
