In the past, my demeanor may have been described as “passionate.”  I always had strong feelings about the world and the life experience.
Over the last few years, however, the roaring blaze has burned down to a few glowing embers. Now older, and hopefully wiser, I accept the realization that I am but a single worker ant in the colony and that life “is what it is!”
There was a time when I thought that I could change the world. Now I realize that the world changed me.

Nobody can deny that there is much turmoil in the world today. The economic climate festered by political debauchery has created an omnipresent aura of suspicion and apprehension.
But the sleepless nights and the tightness in the chest will do nothing to abate the apparent impending meltdown of global society.
True contentment can only occur when rage is conquered! We must accept the fact that we cannot control the actions of others and instead focus our energy inward.

Bob Dylan suggested in lyric that some inexplicable actions of people and society had no real explanation, they just continued to happen.
Every day people rant and rave about issues that are out of their control, and yet they get agitated to the point of having a heart attack. With the elections drawing near, some become so passionate about their candidates that they will spend countless hours agonizing over the possible outcome of the contest.
