This is a new feeling in the Dallas/Fort Worth  Metroplex and of course Arlington, Texas to have back to back World Series. Last year the Texas Rangers played the San Francisco Giants in the World Series. This year the Texas Rangers play the Saint Louis Cardinals. The Texas Rangers came alive last year when the new owners took over. Of course, Nolan Ryan is a class act and with him as principal owner, President and CEO of the Texas Ranger you know the Texas Rangers will continue to be a great team. Aledo is a community in eastern Parker County. The town of Aledo is a few minutes south of Interstate 20. Aledo has become a favorite place for many people from the "big city" of Fort Worth to live. Homes range in price from a low of $60,000 to a high of several million dollars. Many homes are are a half acre or more. Aledo is home to Aledo High School home of the fighting Bearcats.

Crowley, Texas is located in Tarrant County and a small portion in Johnson County. Crowley sits at the crossroads of Farm Roads 1187 and 731. Crowley is 2 miles west of Interstate 35 and 15 miles south of Downtown Fort Worth. In about 1848 settlers began farming in the area around Deer Creek. Every year Weatherford in Parker County Texas has the great Parker County Peach Festival and Peach Pedal Bike Ride. This is a great time and fun for all. Of course is is always warm in July. I don't think you will see me in the Peach Pedal Bike Ride but you may find me under a shade tree or better yet sitting indoors at the Cotton Patch Cafe eatting a big Chicken Fried Steak. Come Early and Have a Great Time in Weatherford.

Weatherford is the county seat of Parker County. It about 20 miles West of Fort Worth Texas. Weatherford is the Cutting Horse Capital of the World and is also the Peach Capital of Texas. Weatherford is fast becoming a Big City but will always have the small town atmosphere.
