Hey guys, once again Northview Community Church's big NBC (Night Before Christmas) production is upon us in full effect with cue to cue rehearsals starting tonight and running through to Thursday and public shows starting on Friday Dec. 4. This is a great opportunity to come out and see a real great show for a 10th of the cost of what a public venue show might cost of this caliber. Ticket's are only 10 bucks and you have to buy them in advance at Northview's church office Monday-Friday 930am-430pm. It is on Downes Rd. in Abbotsford, BC just east of Clearbrook (0 comments)

- 09/24/09 09:32 AM
I am back again today and continuing my post's on the Keller Williams Realty MVVBP (if you would like to know more about what that acronym means feel free to refer back to "The Start Of A Journey" and that hopefully will lay it out for you in more detail there. Today I am talking about the first "V" which stands for Vision Statement, which can be a whole host of things to different people but what it really comes down to is what you want to be and how you want to be perceived and valued and so forth. abbotsford: The Mission In Mind
- 09/23/09 09:38 AM
Yesterday I talked a bit about how I was going to spend the next number of days writing about something called the MVVBP which stands for Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Values, Beliefs, and Perspective. I know you may ask what does this have to do helping me, well let me tell you. Through this next number of post my hope is that I can show you some of what a Keller Williams Office provides to its agents, and not just in leads but in self worth and positive growth in a industry that can some times be very dismal. Today's part (3 comments)
abbotsford: The Start Of A Journey
- 09/22/09 06:09 AM
Hi, I was sitting in an office meeting today and our OP (operating principle) was touching a few things that my company (Keller Williams Realty) is all about and since we are all about acronyms and things I will use it and then explain it. He was talking about the MVVBP we have which is our Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Values, Beliefs (Rules), and Perspective. I felt as thought I should really dig deeper into this for my self to really think about what these things mean to me and how it affects my workplace and why it is that I (2 comments)

abbotsford: Pro Water Ski Tour Coming to Abbotsford...FINALLY IT'S BACK
- 07/27/09 04:50 AM
That's right Abbotsford is going to be hosting the pro water ski tour again this year presented by Malibu Boats. It has been at least 8 years since the last time it has come to town and since most people that are involved in this sport want to see it grow, what better way to do that than by bringing in some professionals and making a weekend event out of it. So that's what is going to happen. Sept 18-19, 2009 at Albert Dyck park near the airport we can expect to see the likes of Chris Parrish, Jamie Beauchesne, Will Asher, (0 comments)

- 06/04/09 09:12 AM
Just wanted to take a minute to let you all know that there is a new shopping center called Abby Lane coming to the Mt. Lehman interchange, it will be massive in size. This is great news showing signs of a steadying economy as well as a strong belief in the Abbotsford community. Being the in the top best 3 cities to invest in Real Estate in Canada it only goes with out saying it is high time for this project to get underway.
Here are a few links from other new media on what's going on with this shopping (4 comments)
abbotsford: Why Your Realtor Should Be Using Social Media
- 06/04/09 07:10 AM
I was sitting down having coffee with a friend of mine Owen Greaves who happens to be heavily involved in social media, technology and IT strategic planning for business. We got to talking about how in all reality most business over the next 3-7 years will move to online at home business, this is will exclude big box stores like wal-mart, best buy, etc. just because your overhead is lower and people just naturally go to the Internet anyway. 86% of home buyers start there search online, the stats might have even climbed since the last time I looked, and a (5 comments)
abbotsford: Private Waterski/Wakeboard site in Abbotsford
- 05/06/09 06:09 AM
Well it seems my post on private water ski site development really draws a lot of people in so I figured I would let you know that there is a facility in Abbotsford which promotes and offers a great place for you to call your own skiers paradise. It is called the Fraser Valley Water Ski Club other wise known as Albert Dyck Park right near the airport. With the lake being sunk in about 8-20 feet depending on the water level it provides just about perfect conditions all day, every day. Which for most people that ski is just perfect, (0 comments)
abbotsford: Why I Choose to Sell Real Estate
- 04/21/09 05:33 AM
I know this could seem a little bit different than normal but I feel it is time to share some of who I am and why I do what I do. I hope you enjoy this piece and hopefully it gives you a little insight into who I am too. Why I choose to Sell Real Estate besides making a living is to help people (you the reader). Most people will tell you they do it for the money or they love real estate its self. But I do it because I love people, the excitement and joy that comes from (7 comments)
abbotsford: Did You Know...
- 02/24/09 09:53 AM
...Abbotsford is one of the top five places to invest in Real Estate in Canada, according to Canadian Real Estate Magazine. This is great news for people who live here as well as all those who have been thinking of re-locating to the wonderful city. With the new bridge coming to replace the Port Mann, this will hopefully bring some relief to traffic, at the same time making it more economically feasible to commute to Vancouver with Abbotsford being the hub. With affordable housing prices compared to Vancouver and a strong buyers market that has been around for the last 6 (4 comments)
As you can tell I am focused on something here and you probably guessed it, getting waterski communities happening in BC, Canada. If you have waterskiied, barefooted, wakeboarded, kneeboarded, airchaired, or even tubed in the last 365 days and you would love to be able to step out your back door and do this when ever you start jonesing for it, than this applies to you. You don't have to be a realtor to comment, you could be a home owner who drives a truck for a (4 comments)
abbotsford: Extreme Sports in Abbotsford? Are You Kidding?
- 02/12/09 06:01 AM
...No I am not kidding, as a matter of fact for all you thrill seekers looking to move to a city that can service all your extreme needs, Abbotsford is the place to be. I know what you are thinking: Is this really true? Can there really be that much to do in Abbotsford? The answer is yes, and let me tell you where and how. I was originally going to do a post just about waterskiing and barefooting and then realized that there are other extreme thrill seekers out there that might not be into either of those things, so (2 comments)
abbotsford: Private Water Ski Site Development? Is There a Market For This in BC, Canada?
- 02/11/09 10:02 AM
Having grown up in Central California, I learned at an early age that sunshine is a key ingrediant in a upbeat, healthy life style. I am sure we can all agree that to be true. I mean really who isn't more willing to smile, wave, spend money, and buy houses when the sun is out and nothing can hold you down. That being said I was forced to move to southwestern British Columbia, Canada when I was a teenager. Not that I was overly disappointed but I didn't have much of a choice in the matter. Anyway I have been here (4 comments)
abbotsford: Buyers? Sellers? Who's turn is it to capitalize?
- 01/23/09 08:46 AM
In Abbotsford, BC, Canada, this seems to be the time when the sun starts shining again and people start buying and selling homes again, and for whatever reason they think that the market has some how magically turned back into a seller's market. The truth is written below as to what exactly is happening but to answer the title question, this is the time for the buyer to sieze the opportunity to buy a home that just a year ago might not have been able to affort. However if you are selling to move-up into a bigger home there are lots of exciting opportunities for you (8 comments)
