There is a lake called Crooked that is 12 miles west of Alexandria and 2 1/2 miles outside of Holmes City. It isn't a deep lake but has a decent maximum depth of 35 feet. 152 acre Crooked Lake is a good fishing lake for families and northerns in the 4-6 pound range are routinely caught. … (0 comments)
