Preamble Yes, you are correct... this is a tech tip Thursday post on a Friday. Furthermore, if you are having a feeling of deja vu, confirmed on the second count also! This post was part of the ActiveRain site June amnesia incident. 2020 is just full of little surprises for us :) Anyhow, had I been doing things in proper order, I would have posted to my regular site first and then copied here to AR. So I hear you've been spending more time on YouTube than you used to. (hahaha don't deny it! We all have! #newreality #covid19) So in this post, I figured some YouTube pro level tips would be an excellent topic to cover. Let's make the best use of our time on YouTube! :)

Here are a whole bunch of little tips for you to consider as you spend your time blogging and reading in ActiveRain. Here are 10 tips for you!
1. Insert a Hyperlink Shortcut Every post we write usually has one or more hyperlinks to other relevant pages. To insert a hyperlink, you first select the text you want to link, then you click the "insert link" button. Did you know there is a shortcut key for this, highlight your text and press Ctrl+K. I use that all the time. (if you are on Mac that might be Control-K, you'll have to let me (82 comments)
There's lots of things that I'll do and then think "I wonder if others know this too?". These aren't big things in themselves to make a whole blog post about it, but I can put a few together and then share them all with you. This group of tips are specifically for ActiveRain... Did You Know ... Once you hit submit comment, have you ever noticed something you spelled wrong? Go back to your comment after and click the "Edit" link and you can fix it. tips: I Like Having Three Buttons

I like having three buttons on my mouse. I use the third button all the time! Do you? If you use a Windows PC like me, then you too have three buttons... (unless... how OLD is your computer?) The third button is also known as the "wheel" on your wheel mouse. But it is more than a wheel. Did you know you can click the wheel down as a third button? My favorite use of the middle button (i.e. clicking down on the wheel) is to open a link on a webpage in a new tab. What's cool about having it (28 comments)
tips: Google - Beyond the Obvious

Google is often synonymous with "searching the web" - in other words someone tells you "did you google it?" Alright, everybody knows google for searching but what you might not know is that it has some really great additional features for finding quick answers. For example, did you know that it was a calculator AND that it can do units conversion. Consider this, you have a 60' x 120' property and want to know the acreage. Notice what you can type in below:
