The 2008 football season has officially come to a close. If you're a Detroit Lions fan, you're thankful! If you're a Steelers fan, you're ecstatic. If you're neither of these, you probably fall somewhere in between.
Of course there were plenty of highlights and low-lights throughout the season.
Whether you play, are a rabid or casual fan, or just enjoy the game, this video is so cool you can't help but to be amazed at the skills of these guys. Even if you don't have any interest in football, this is a fun video.

Smart Cars. We've all seen them on the road. Some of us have even laughed at them as they look like glorified golf carts zipping along the highways. But with an EPA rating of 33 city/ 41 highway miles per gallon, and a top speed of 90 miles per hour, perhaps they should be taken a little more seriously.

Kay Yow, the inspirational North Carolina State University women's basketball coach, passed away yesterday. She was 66.
Yow, who finally succombed to her decades long battle with breast cancer, achieved heights of coaching success that many can only dream of. And, more importantly, she raised awareness and money for a disease that affects millions of people around the world.

Regardless of which side of the aisle you subscribe to, today Barack Obama gave a pretty powerful and uplifting inaugural speech. Full of hope and inspiration, even some of America's die hard Republican leaders found it to be an excellent speech.
By now you've either heard it or seen the transcript, but you've probably not seen it in a "word cloud" or a "Wordle" created using the text of the speech.
