Don't forget folks...On Saturday, May 5th, 2012, our little town of Apex, North Carolina will hold it's annual "Peak of Good Living" celebration, the Apex Peak Fest!
Peak Fest originally started out in a school parking lot and has grown to be such a grand event that hundreds of vendors and over 25,000 people attend every year. Salem Street, our version of Main Street, USA, is closed to traffic as clowns and magicians entertain the little ones, food and crafts vendors line the streets, and bands play throughout the day. It's that time of year! Halloween is right around the corner, and our little town
of Apex, North Carolina is getting into the holiday spirit.
On Saturday, October 30th, the Eva Perry Library, located at 2100 Shepherd's Vineyard Drive in Apex, will play host to a FREE pumpkin decorating event.Starting at 10:30 AM children, kindergarten ages and up, can bring in a pumpkin to create their very own Halloween masterpiece.All decorating supplies will be supplied by the staff at the library. Bill Clinton Visits Apex, NC
On Wednesday April 30th, former President Bill Clinton came to visit "The Peak of Good Living" town of Apex.
No matter what your political bent is, when someone of this magnitude comes to visit our town, I felt I should be a part of this special event.
So, I decided to get up and go see the crowds, listen to him speak and, if nothing else, say I was part of a historic event in Apex, NC.
