Today is Just Another Day......
I know I've posted this before, but, the message here rings true year after year...
Anyone who knows me, knows that I live for my daughter, Laura.
All that I do is geared towards making her life better.
She has dreams and goals, and my lifelong quest is to help her realize and achieve them. This past week Laura took one more step towards achieving those goals...
So while today she celebrates me, every day I celebrate her.

It's Official! My daughter, Laura, graduated High School yesterday!
A National Honors Society recipient, VP of HOSA, and a nearly perfect GPA to her credit.
A big congratulations to my "little girl" and to the rest of the Class of 2013!
Laura wants to be a dentist and I have at least 8 years of college to pay for!!!
So, PLEASE, PLEASE Help Me Send Laura to College and Buy a Raleigh, Cary, Apex Area Home... NOW!

When my little girl was only a yardstick tall, she told me that she knew the difference between a house and a home. "A house is only a building. A home has love in it."

Well, my dear readers, it's been a long day. Two listing appointments (One I nailed and will be listing in a short while. The other, I'm not so sure about.), lots of client follow up, some commenting here in the Rain, and I ran around putting fresh flyers in my flyer boxes.Now, it's time to kick back.
But tonight will be a bit different.
No playing around with Photoshop.
No watching TV.
I'm even putting my endless quest of visiting every web site ever created on hold this evening.

My Kid is in Heaven... I achieve Super Hero Dad status... and Adam Lambert Owes Me a New Sharpie!
A few days ago my little girl Laura celebrated her 15th birthday. And, for her birthday, she was given the one and only thing she wanted: 2 tickets to see her favorite performer, Adam Lambert, in concert.
He was playing at the Progress Energy Center, an auditorium style venue, right in downtown Raleigh.
I was given the dubious honor of taking her and her friend to the show, waiting until it ended, and then driving the two giddy little girls … (65 comments)

Bob Weir, best known for being a founding member of the Grateful Dead, celebrates his 62nd birthday today.
Weir, a singer, songwriter and musician, is, along with the Grateful Dead arguably one of the most recorded musicians on the planet!
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet Bobby on numerous occasions and each and every time he was most cordial. Whether it was backstage or poolside, whenever I saw him, Bobby always took the time with whoever came by, to talk, share a joke or sign an autograph.

Don't forget folks...On Saturday, May 2nd, 2009, our little town of Apex, North Carolina will hold it's annual "Peak of Good Living" celebration, the Apex PeakFest!
PeakFest originally started out in a school parking lot and has grown to be such a grand event that hundreds of vendors and over 25,000 people attend every year. Salem Street, our version of Main Street, USA, is closed as clowns and magicians entertain the little ones, food and crafts vendors line the streets, and bands play throughout the day.
