Well, my dear readers, the 2010 census numbers are in, and it looks like the Raleigh/ Cary/ Apex area has grown again!

We now sit at 990,993 happy residents here in Wake County, making us the 2nd largest county in North Carolina.

Why did we grow again? Maybe it's the weather. Maybe it's the great schools or the friendly people that keep bringing folks this way. On May 31st, North Carolina State University student, Joseph Carnevale had an inspiration that he just couldn't resist. So he set out to act upon his desire.
"I had the idea in class that morning, and it kind of grew in my head, until it was something I had to do," he said.
