We are hearing a lot of people lately, including some of our fearless leaders who may be questioning the importance of the thing that separates Active Rain from all of the other blogging platforms out there. I came across this old post tonight and thought it would be a good idea to see if we were still getting the positive results. Fortunately, we are still at the top of google, ahead of the other "Woodland Management Service's" in England and Idaho. Thanks Active Rain!

Twitter Actually Useful, Google and the Media finding my blogs here. The experts at Active Rain coach us to post our blogs in all of the social media, something about backlinks I think, that helps Google to find us and occasionally if we have enough friends they might find us too. Just for the Points, Payment for a Job Well Done. I first started getting serious about AR about a year and a half ago and the more that I learn the more that I respect this mechanism known affectionately as Active Rain, pure genius. Active Rain is a media superstar, producing a great media outlet with thousands of great writers and commenters creating buzz constantly to attract the dollars of happy advertisers. And all of the writers are paid in Points, Media coverage and SEO boosts. Again, pure genius!
