Open Houses, an Amazing way to Show Rentals, and a Crowdsourcing Challenge
We don't sell a lot of houses, but we do Rent a lot of them, and over the years we have gravitated toward open houses as the preferred showing method.
We dont open our houses to the public, an exclusive by appointment system helps us to maintain a little control of our Time, Leads, and Home Security.
All attendees must have an appointment, however we do pack in as many as 10 per hour, knowing that many will not show up.

Crowdsourcing Referral Challenge
          In this challenge, Bob Stewart asked us to talk about how successful referrals are for our business.  He also mentions how Jeremiah Taylor positions people to illicit their reticular activator, in an effort to improve his referral rate. 
          As I mentioned in my previous blog, referrals are really the only surefire way of bringing in new clients for our business.  Of course, the drawback in running your business totally on referrals is, referrals take time.

          Before starting our company over a quarter of a century ago, I talked with several Forestry consultants to gain all the advice I could get before starting.   One of the tips that they all had mentioned was that in this profession advertising does not work.  What we do is so fantastic that our future customers need to hear it from a previous customer or a trusted friend.
