Hiking & Biking on the Green Circle Trail in Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Yesterday we were working on a house of ours near the Green Circle Trail and while the crew was busy working Jack and I decided to take a break for a bike ride along the Wisconsin River on the The Green Circle Trail.

My trusty sled dog Jack generally enjoys pulling me all over town and today is no exception however he is very distracted by all of the squirrels today that are busy gathering acorns around all of the big Red Oaks along the trail.

Meet Your Neighbor Days in Cadott Wisconsin
Country Fest may get a lot of press and put Cadott on the map, but most of the local people know that the big event in town is Nabor Days.
I always enjoy summers when I can be working out of our Cadott office on this special weekend, of course I do take several breaks to enjoy the festivities in town.

Colby Cheese Days, a great event for lovers of Cheese and Fun
I have always enjoyed Cheese, especially since I grew up on a dairy farm where we produced the milk for a lot of cheese and could buy back a fair amount of it from the creamery where we sold our milk.
But then when I went to college and met a girl from a town with an exceptional type of cheese actually named after it, I got to meet some real Cheese Enthusiasts.
