Lost, Stand Still Though it has been an overwhelmingly busy week this week, I am still helping out at the Franciscan house as I try to always do a few afternoons on any week that I am in town. And it is a good thing since there is always a great need. Today after things calmed down and Fr Finnian who I was working with left for home I was doing a bit of paperwork when I happened upon a cool little poster that Fr. Refreshment and Conversations at Franciscans Downtown Today was one of my days that I take the afternoon off from my regular work and spend some time volunteering with the other Franciscans at our little lounge downtown. Some days it is more like a homeless shelter, somedays it seems like it is more about showing a few movies, and other days like today it is more about the words that Fr Placid wrote on the sign when he first conceived of this little retreat house.
