Visiting Holy Hill in SouthEast Wisconsin An interesting site that is often overlooked is Holy Hill, where resides the Basilica of Holy Hill. It was first know as Holy Hill when a French Hermit moved here to do penance in the 1860's, and has since become a shrine with many religious artifacts. If you are traveling in South East Wisconsin and looking for a quiet, contemplative place to spend a few minutes with God, then stop in and enjoy the sites and the solitude.

I love my Recliner, Good Internet, and constant Electricity. It was good to get home tonight, you don't appreciate the simple things of home until you spend a few weeks out roughing it. Solar Electricity is nice because it is renewable and nearly free, but you do have to be frugal with how much you use or you will drain your batteries before you finish your Active Rain Blogs late at night. My phone's hot-spot internet is nice and convenient, but it is slow compared to the high speed internet that I get back at my office in Stevens Point. And

Stevens Point's Green Circle Trail As I have mentioned before, Stevens Point has always been a great place for biking. With very few high traffic bottlenecks, level terrain and ample shops and attractions close to any part of town that you live in. In 1996, the city added another unique attraction when they developed the Green Circle Trail which helped to join together many of the natural areas in and around the city especially concentrating along the Wisconsin and Plover rivers and all of the great scenery associated with them. The Wisconsin Farm Technology Days is the largest agricultural show in Wisconsin and one of the largest farm shows in the nation.
