Trempealeau County Wisconsin; Trophy Whitetails & Turkeys Trempealeau County is a Wildlife paradise stretching through the Coulee Region between Eau Claire County and the Mississippi River. The Coulees in this area of the state where the glaciers bypassed are where we find extensive Oak forests on the hills with farmland in the valleys. This all adds up to some prime habitat for Oak loving wildlife like Whitetail Deer and Turkeys. Our clients at Woodland Management Service own land here for the bountiful wildlife and for the quality Oak timber.

Monroe County is a Wildlife paradise with over 300 Thousand Acres of Forest land. Our clients at Woodland Management Service own land here primarily for the bountiful wildlife but also for the quality timber. Most of this 300 thousand acres of forest land is Oak with 164 thousand acres of Oak forests which provide premium deer and turkey habitat along with timber income. There are also 60 thousand acres of quality Red and Jack Pine forests which provide good winter habitat and good income for the forest landowners. These forests are not only good for (2 comments)

A pleasant memory to share today of a great day from last year that brings a smile as I read it today
Nice Day in the Frigid North Though the day started out not so well, with one of our Foresters with a truck that did not want to start, it ended well. Once we got the truck started he headed out to the woods and had a very productive day and I got plenty of paperwork done and took some time for visiting too. It was a delight when I called one of my favorite heavy hitter clients to find that he was home (9 comments)

Dickenson County, Upper Michigan, Forests, Wildlife, & Recreation. Upper Michigan is one of my favorite places with cool summers, snow filled winters and some of the best Sugar Maple in the world. With over 9 million acres of forestland, and not that many people, this place is a real treasure.
This place may be a little tough on the deer with deep snows and less food than we see in Wisconsin or Lower Michigan, but you will find more of some of the other wildlife species like Bears, Moose, Wolves and much more. I am always impressed with the quality of the forests in the (2 comments)
