Lake Superior; When In Doubt, Do Not Go Out! Lake Superior is a beautiful body of water with a great view from whatever place you may be, but it does have a dark history in its cold deep waters. Nobody knows just how many ships, boats and other watercraft line the bottom of this lake, or how many people went down with them over the years. But one thing should be remembered, be careful when venturing out onto these waters, they can be dangerous for both shippers and recreationists alike and the weather changes very quickly out on the lake.
