advertising on the mls: Real Estate Agent - I'd like to recommend you but . . - 08/22/09 06:36 AM

Dear Real Estate Agent –
I’ve enjoyed getting acquainted with you and think you have a great many admirable qualities that home sellers will find important.  Perhaps your attention to detail, negotiation skills and networking abilities set you apart from other agents, and I should start referring clients to you.  I know you have lots of experience and vast areas of expertise.  Yes, your personality is fun, witty and entertaining, but your real estate photos online are killer.
Killer in a bad way.  They kill any thought of me referring business to you and are an example of what … (22 comments)

advertising on the mls: It Time to Straighten Up! - 05/23/09 10:39 PM
Ever look at photos where the floor isn't level - hmmm is it the photo or is the house not structurally sound?  Or noticed a doorway that is at an angle in a photo that you thought would be perfect?
So often when I'm taking photos, I tend to lean to the left or the right - it's a minor lean, but obvious when I'm editing photos and so annoying when everything else in the shot Is great.  I've tried to line my shots up so doorframes are straight, etc, but sometimes when using a wide angle lens it's difficult for … (20 comments)

With over 80% of home buyers shopping online first for real estate - it's vital to create an image that will make your listing appealing and a "must see".  Staging is an important component of preparing the home for sale, but if the photos aren't top notch - staging efforts are diminished.
This new year offer from Miraculous Memories is an incredible deal -- for $50 per listing!
Think of how pleased some of your existing listings would be if you gave them a call and told them you were hiring a professional photographer to highlight their home this month … (6 comments)

advertising on the mls: Why Photography Matters to Stagers in Real Estate Marketing - 12/14/08 04:04 PM

Recently I came across some photos online that really made me sad -

Why . . .???
Because the realtor hired me to do a consultation and the house really looks like this.  Evidently when the property was updated on the MLS recently the photos were incorrectly loaded -- though I've contacted the agent - it remains on the MLS wth the old photos.

Now the after photos were taken with my little camera . . . think how great they would look with professional photography like this!  Here's how I want my staging to be … (15 comments)
