When selling your home in 2010, you need more than a good price and location. You also need a home that is memorable, stands out and that buyers will fall in love with!
As home stagers, we think adding a bit of drama can be a great thing!
Here's a glimpse of two houses we did this week in Corvallis Oregon.  Both had been on the market for a while - getting comments that they were "dated".

How's the real estate market? 
Per Forbes, "Even the wisest can't answer that, and experts caution against putting too much hope in rising home prices given the country's unemployment situation and high rate of mortgage defaults. But key measures indicate that some metros are more on their way to recovery than others."

selling my oregon home: Home Staging and Home Selling - When it Doesn't Work - 07/19/09 12:55 AM
This week we removed staging from a home that has been for sale since April.  A routine task for us, but this "de-staging" job was unique.  This is the only house we have staged in 2009 that hasn't sold.  Usually when we remove staging the owner is getting to move on to their new home, maybe a new town and it's a story of wonderful new beginnings.  Not so in this case.  When we remove staging there frequently hugs and glowing testimonials about how staging worked so well for them.  I wasn't looking forward to removing this staging!
