There's a new law taking effect September 1st that we parents all need to be aware of.
It's SB 61 and it amends the existing statute regarding child passenger safety seats.
The bill requires that any child younger than 8 years of age be restrained in an approved child passenger safety seatĀ unless the child is at least 4'9" in height.
