Come cool down with Lake of the Ozarks' local residents and visitors at the Bagnell Dam Strip on August 8 for the Hot Summer Nights Cruise. Hundreds of classic cycles, trucks and cars will be arriving for a great show. Many residents are taken back in time to when teenagers would cruise the Strip and park their rides for everyone in town to admire. This is a great family event, so bring the kids. Over 25,000 docks are expected to be surveyed by the end of August in Lake of the Ozarks , Missouri . The dock inspection is in anticipation of an end of the year ban on non-encapsulated foam that was used to make many of the lake's docks. AmerenUE Shoreline Management will be doing the survey of all docks on the lake using digital photographs to help pinpoint all docks that were not outfitted using encapsulated foam. When I came across Bridal Cave I had to ask, "Who in the world would want to get married in a cave?" The answer I got was over 2075 couples.
