indiana: Gotta a Shovel, Can You Dig It? - 02/14/07 01:54 AM
Happy Valentines Day!
In Central Indiana, this will be known as the can you dig out Valentines Day?  This is the view from my kitchen window this morning while I had my coffee.  The sun is shinning and if I listen real hard, I can hear the humming of snow-blowers in the distance.  City snow plow was through earlier this morning and threw the street snow into everyones driveway approach.  Even with the snow-blower, it's work!
I'm one of the fortunate people in Indianapolis. . .I wasn't stuck sleeping in the airport because my flight was canceled yesterday.  I'm not wondering if … (3 comments)

indiana: February Winter Storm System in Indiana - 02/13/07 07:37 AM
If you're in Indiana today, you know that the big news story is our winter storm moving through.  This is a picture taken on my street just a few moments ago.
I live in the central part of Indiana and we've received about 5 inches which is now mixed with sleet and freezing rain.  The wind is blowing the snow around quite a bit and making open areas hard to keep clear of the white stuff.  Intil last month, the weather for this winter had been fairly mild.  I never complain because I'm not that fond of snow and cold.
It will be a difficult drive … (2 comments)

indiana: Let's Make A Deal . . .Realtor #1, Realtor #2 or Realtor #3? - 02/05/07 12:49 PM
When a prospective seller interviews Realtors for the task of listing the home does the homeowner think the interview process is something like "Let's Make A Deal?"
While the ultimate prize is to sell the home quickly, at a fair market price and without problems, many times home sellers find out they chose the wrong door, hence the wrong Realtor.
So how does a homeowner make the right choice?  By getting all the facts.  Most of the time the services and marketing plans that Realtors present sound about the same, make sure that you are comparing apples to apples.
An Example:  Realtor #1 said they … (0 comments)
