"How can I sell the house when the house is loaded with personal property and clutter everywhere?" or "How can the homeowner make the house presentable?" The solution is simple. The stuff must be thinned out or removed so the homeowner can realize the value of typically their biggest asset, the house and let the Realtor do their job. But how? "How do Auctions Work"? and "What does the Auctioneer say?" are questions I'm oftern asked by clients. There are generally three types of Auctions used to sell Real and Personal Property. Types of Auctions Absolute Auction (or auction without reserve) 1. The property is sold to the highest bidder, regardless of the price. 2. Since a sale is guaranteed, buyer excitement and participation are heightened. 3. Generates maximum response from the market place. 4.
