When you live in Portland Oregon and it's surrounding areas, it's never boring to take in the beauty of Mount Hood. It's so mesmerizing on a clear day that you just can't look away. It's just so magnificant and regal looking when it's snow capped. On this day I was out driving , not only was Mount Hood clearly visible, but Mt. St. Helens as well. Talk about a driving distraction! I love living in Portland! I was driving the other day on a back road behind the airport and just had to pull over to get this shot.

Picture of Oregon's Mount Hood saved by Picnik Late yesterday afternoon, we were driving on I-5 and there was Mount Hood so clear, so majestic looking. It's one of the things I never get accustom to seeing. There are days when you're driving around the Portland area and the sky is so clear, you can not only see Mount Hood, but Mount St. Helen's as well. Some good friends and my hubby and I enjoyed a beautiful couple of days down in Pacific City, Oregon. A musician, singer songwriter, and good friend from the South Hugo Duarte was up doing some home concerts in the Pacific NW, so the Key Northwest Parrot Heads were throwing a house party with him playing. As "sorta" parrotheads...this is a long story and for another blog post, but lets just say I'm a Parrothead by marraige.
